Bio
Sara is a pre-doctoral researcher working on Spectral Mass Gauging (SMG), an acoustic technique for propellant mass estimation in space systems. Her research focuses on the experimental development and validation of this method across different gravity conditions. Her work includes designing experimental setups, conducting experiments in both normal gravity and microgravity environments, and analysing the resulting data to understand how gravity affects the technique. She has participated in microgravity campaigns at the ZARM Drop Tower and contributes to the development of orbital and cryogenic payloads.
